MATH
Investigations (Pearson Education, Inc.) -Program focuses on exploration and discovery. Uses many manipulatives to learn foundational math skills AIMS (Activities Integrating Math and Science) -Hands-on math and science integration SCIENCE Incorporated through literacy and math. –Students will participate in science experiments that allow them to explore their environment. –We study life cycles including the life cycle of a pumpkin, butterfly and plants. –We also study various insects and animals. -We visit the planetarium when we study the day and night sky. SPECIALS - kindergarten students will attend one special per week either music or library. Although they will go to the library every week to at least have thier book selection time. Please remember to send their library books each week! Students will also have the opportunity to go to the computer lab once a week for instruction by their classroom teacher.
